In order to promote China’s national quintessence and inherit Chinese culture; enrich campus life and broaden students’ horizons, our school has established a Peking Opera club. As China’s national quintessence, Peking Opera encompasses five thousand years of historical culture. Singing, speaking, acting, and martial arts all embody the artistic charm of ancient culture. Through studying Peking Opera, girls can cultivate the beauty of elegance, while boys can enhance their heroism. It is the responsibility of every Chinese person to promote traditional culture. When standing on foreign soil, singing Peking Opera, the collision between Western culture and Chinese national culture presents yet another unique landscape.
